3. As per a report of Symantec released on 22 October, India is among the top five countries in terms of being affected by cybercrime.

This has increased the need for a large workforce of security professionals to combat such issues & vulnerabilities. 

In India, Cyber Security is no more an industrial subject merely but also has become a topic of national security as well. As per the reports and observations of NASSCOM, Data Security Council of India & PwC, the Cyber Security industry may become the market of $35 billion by 2025 with a million new jobs created and thousands of new startups to be established. 

With an intense lack of Cyber Security professionals, critical infrastructure in India has become highly vulnerable to security attacks.
